Add ADLS ACL Principals to Ranger

Create or use a separate Microsoft Entra principal to test access controlled by Ranger policies.

Any valid Microsoft Entra object ID in GUID format can be used as an ADLS ACL principal.

For example:

Field	Value
Display name	`ranger-abfs-test-principal`
Object ID	`<Microsoft-Entra-object-ID>`

Add the object ID of the principal as a user in Ranger.

Note

Ranger ABFS policies use the Microsoft Entra object ID as the user name.
