Data Products | Detail Page
The Data Product detail page provides a unified view of a product's health, assets, Quality SLA posture, policies, lineage, documentation, reviews, and version history. To open a Data Product, select its name from the Manage Data Products list.
The details page is organized into tabs, each providing a different view of the product.
Tagging a Data Product
You can associate tags with a Data Product to classify and organize it, using the same shared tag library used for assets, policies, and other entities in ADOC. For background on the tag key-value model and how tags are created and managed, see Tags.
The tag icon is available at the top of any Data Product's detail page, regardless of which tab is currently open. If no tags have been associated yet, the page displays No tags have been associated yet next to the icon.
To add tags:
- Select the tag icon at the top of the Data Product detail page. The Add Tags dialog opens.
- Select an existing tag from the Key Name dropdown.
- In the Value field, select one or more values for that key. Selected values appear as removable chips.
- To associate an additional tag key, select Add Row and repeat steps 2–3.
- To remove a key-value row entirely, select the remove icon (⊖) next to that row.
- Select Add to save the tag associations.
Associated tags are shown next to the tag icon at the top of the Data Product detail page.
Note
Deleting a Data Product automatically removes its tag associations. Deleting a tag from the shared tag library removes it from every Data Product that carried it.
The details page is organized into tabs, each providing a different view of the product.
Overview
The Overview tab is the default view when you open a Data Product. It displays:
- Health score cards: A row of score panels showing the current aggregated scores for Reliability Score, Data Quality, Reconciliation, Data Freshness, Data Anomaly, and Data Drift. A score of "-" indicates the corresponding Quality SLA is not configured or no executions have occurred.
- Description and Business Justification: The values entered during creation. A "-" is shown if the field was left blank.
- Technical Information: Read-only metadata including Product ID, Created on date, and Updated on date.
- Custom field values: Values for any administrator-defined custom fields configured for your tenant. See Data Products | Custom Fields.
Assets
The Assets tab lists all data assets associated with the Data Product. For each asset, the following information is shown:
Column | Description |
Name | The asset name. Select the name to navigate to the asset's detail page. |
Reliability Score | The current reliability score for the asset. |
Profiled | Indicates whether the asset has been profiled. |
Tags | Tags applied to the asset. The count shown is a link to the asset's tag list. |
Total Rows | The total row count for the asset, if available. |
To add more assets to the Data Product, select Add Assets in the top-right corner of the Assets tab, or use the Add Assets option from the Actions menu. See Data Products | Creating and Managing.
Quality SLA
The Quality SLA tab shows the policy coverage status for each member asset against the Quality SLAs configured for the Data Product. For each asset, the tab displays the number of policies configured per Quality SLA type, along with a Configured or Not Configured status indicator.
Status | Description |
Configured | At least one policy of the corresponding type is applied to the asset. The number of configured policies is shown (for example, 5 Policies, 1 Policy). |
Not Configured | No policy of the corresponding type is applied to the asset. Shown as 0 Policies. |
To update which Quality SLAs are monitored, select Set Quality SLA from the Actions menu.
Policies
The Policies tab lists all policies across the member assets of the Data Product in a single view. You can use this tab to monitor policy execution health across the product without navigating to individual assets.
The Policies tab includes the following controls:
- Filters: Filter policies by Overall Status, Rule Set, Policy Status, Data Source, Tag, and Policy Group.
- Policy type quick filters: Quickly isolate policies by type using the Data Quality, Reconciliation, Freshness, Anomaly, Data Drift, Schema Drift, and Auto Anomaly filter buttons.
- Search: Search for a specific policy by name.
The policy list includes the following columns: Name, Policy Type, Tags, Quality Score, Open Alerts, Overall Status, Rule Count, Records Processed, Last Executed, Avg Quality Score, Total Executions, Incremental Strategy, and Schedule.
Select any policy name to navigate directly to that policy's detail page. To view individual rules and their execution results scoped to this Data Product, select Rules from the Policies | Rules toggle in the top-right corner of the tab.
Rules
The Rules view is accessible within the Policies tab using the Policies | Rules toggle in the top-right corner of the tab. It is currently available as a Preview feature.
The Rules view lists all rules configured across the reliability policies applied to the Data Product's member assets. Rules are only shown for policies that have at least one successful execution.
The Rules view displays the following columns:
Column | Description |
Name | The rule name. Select the name to open the rule's detail view. |
Asset | The asset the rule is applied to. |
Column(s) | The column or columns evaluated by the rule. |
Rule Type | The type of check, for example Null Check, Equality, or Uniqueness. |
Dimension | The data quality dimension the rule evaluates, for example Completeness or Accuracy. |
Policy Type | The type of policy the rule belongs to, for example Data Quality or Reconciliation. |
Policy Name | The name of the policy the rule is part of. |
Quality Score | The quality score from the most recent execution. |
Result | The result of the most recent execution: Passed or Failed. |
Last Executed | The date and time the rule was last executed. |
Search and filter: Use the search bar to find rules by rule name, policy name, or column name. Use the filters to narrow results by time range, quality score range, or rule result. Use the policy type quick filters — Data Quality, Reconciliation, Freshness, Anomaly, Data Drift, Schema Drift, and Auto Anomaly — to isolate rules by policy category.
Row actions: Select the actions menu (⋮) on any rule row to access the following options:
- View Policy — opens the policy detail page in the Policies module.
- Edit Policy — opens the policy in edit mode in the Policies module.
- Go To Execution Details — opens the execution detail for the most recent run of the policy.
The Rules view is a Preview feature. Rule definitions and thresholds are managed through Governance -> Policies.
Lineage
The Lineage tab displays the upstream and downstream relationships for all assets within the Data Product, including tables, pipelines, and reports. The graph shows the complete connection path across all levels — not just immediate nodes — giving you full visibility into how data flows into and out of the product.
The following asset types are shown in the lineage graph where connections exist:
- Tables and views — data assets that are member assets of the Data Product.
- Pipelines — upstream or downstream pipeline connections are shown across the full path. Select any pipeline node to navigate directly to its detail page, where you can view run history and execution details.
- Reports — PowerBI and Tableau reports connected to the Data Product's assets are displayed in the graph.
If no lineage connections have been established for the member assets, the tab displays: No lineage found for data product.
Documentation
The Documentation tab provides a markdown editor where the Data Product Owner can author freeform documentation about the product. Documentation is visible to all users who have access to the published Data Product.
The editor supports markdown formatting, including:
- Paragraph text and headings
- Bullet lists and numbered lists
- Quotes and code blocks
Note
The Documentation tab supports markdown text only. Uploading documents or embedding images and media files is not supported.
Documentation is authored and saved directly from the Documentation tab. There is no separate publish step for documentation changes — edits are saved and immediately visible to consumers.
Reviews
The Reviews tab allows consumers to rate and review a published Data Product. Each user can submit one review and one rating. You can update your existing review and rating at any time. The star rating shown in the Marketplace card and on the product header is the aggregate average of all submitted reviews.
From the Reviews tab, you can:
- Submit or update your rating: Select a star rating (1–5) using the Share your Rating control at the top of the tab.
- Submit or update your review: Enter a written review in the Update your review field and select Update to save.
- View recent reviews: The Recent reviews section lists all submitted reviews with the reviewer's name, date, and review text.
- Reply to reviews: Select Reply on any review to add a response. Existing replies are shown beneath the review and can be toggled using Hide replies.
Versions
The Versions tab shows the change history of the Data Product. Each entry in the version list records a specific change, including who made it and when.
Column | Description |
Version | The sequential version number. Version 1 is the initial creation. |
Updated By | The email address of the user who made the change. |
Fields changed | The name of the field or fields that were modified in this version (for example, Status, Quality Sla, Documentation). |
Updated At | The date and time the change was made. |
