Catalog APIs discover and monitor your data estate in ADOC.
Capabilities
Capability | Description |
Datasources and crawlers | List or load data sources by name, ID, or AssetSourceType. Start crawlers and read crawler status. |
Assets | Resolve assets by numeric ID or string UID. List AssetType definitions. Read and extend metadata. Fetch sample data. |
Profiling | Run full, incremental, and selective profiling with AssetProfilingParams and catalog MarkerConfig (ID, date-time, file-event bounds, and other wire variants). Poll, cancel, and re-fetch profile requests. |
Policies | Execute and monitor data quality, reconciliation, and cadence rules. Policies are managed separately from profiling jobs. |
