Catalog Guide

Use the catalog APIs in acceldata-sdk-python to discover and monitor the data sources and assets in Acceldata Data Observability Cloud (ADOC). For client setup, see acceldata-sdk-python Overview.

Description

Data sources and crawlers

List or load data sources by name, ID, or AssetSourceType. Start crawlers and read crawler status.

Assets

Get assets by numeric ID or string UID. List AssetType definitions. Read metadata, add custom metadata, and fetch sample data.

Profiling

Run full, incremental, and selective profiling with AssetProfilingParams and catalog MarkerConfig (ID, date-time, file-event bounds, and other marker types). Check the status of profile requests, get their details, or cancel them.

Policies

Run and monitor data quality, reconciliation, and data cadence policies. Policies run separately from profiling jobs.
