Pulse Core Services

Pulse Core services are essential services for data operations. They enable observability for various Hadoop services and ensure system functionality.

Acceldata uses basic authentication for internal communication among these services.


Pulse UI, Deployment, and Streaming

Writes data to various databases and supports most Pulse services.

Deploys Agents to Hadoop clusters via Ansible. This service needs passwordless SSH from the Pulse Server.

Description

Hydra Server

Communicates with Hydra Agent to synchronize all Pulse agents and their configuration using the vars.yml and override.yml files.


Alerts, Notifications, and Actions

The following Pulse Add-on services support alerting, notifications, and automated actions.

Manages user-defined and system-generated alerts.

ad-notifications

Sends alert notifications to third-party systems such as Email, Slack, etc.

ad-actions

Executes automated tasks on Hadoop cluster nodes. (Port: 19999)


Dashplots
